I received a deep cleaning at Foxchase Dental Group today and am pleased to say the entire experience was a good one. I went in feeling very nervous and worried that the procedure might be very painful, but the front desk personnel and dental hygienist Afrouz assured me that they would do everything they could to make sure my mouth was numb so it would not hurt, and they were true to their word. The office manager Annette and front desk receptionist Jakara were delightful to speak with. Afrouz was very kind and put me at ease throughout the procedure. I am an uninsured patient and Annette set me up with a payment plan and discounted pricing which also helped to ease the financial pain of visiting the dentist. Dr. Burchfield took his time with me and explained the treatment he recommended and why it was important to get the recommended treatment. I liked his personality. I would recommend Foxchase Dental Group to anyone looking for a local Alexandria dentist with discounted pricing for those of us who do not have dental insurance. I can't thank the team at Foxchase Dental Group enough for the kindness and compassion they showed me during an unexpected dental emergency. I went in needing a same-day repair to my front tooth, and before insurance the treatment was nearly $2,800. Even after insurance, I was told my portion would be around $1,200. It was completely unforeseen, and honestly, I was overwhelmed. My son had just started college the week before, and I simply couldn't take on another major expense. Instead of just sending me on my way, the doctor and the front desk team took the time to listen to my situation. They worked together to find a solution that allowed me to receive high-quality materials and same-day treatment at a significantly lower cost. I ultimately paid a little under $500.
